If you are experienced with meditating then you already know about the benefits you’ve gained from it.  Calmer.  More easy going.  Peaceful and relaxed even under pressure.  Kind of like being high without taking any drugs.  No doubt you also remember the discipline and consistent practicing it took to get that far.  Well guess what?  I found a way to get into that state of being without having to work so hard at it to achieve the same results.  Mind you I’m not knocking meditating on your own.  People have been doing it since the beginning of mankind and will continue to meditate alone until the end of time.  But there is an alternative method I found out about a couple of years ago when I happened upon a wonderful little magical place called Gypsy Trader.

Through the ages,  healers have been aware that a deep state of relaxation - meditation - positively influences a person’s heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen consumption, blood flow to skeletal muscles, perspiration, muscle tension as well as enhances immunity to disease.

Early in 2003 the University of Wisconsin-Madison released studies that proved meditating one hour, six days each week increased activation in the left, frontal portion of participants’ brains - the lobe credited with reducing anxiety thereby creating a positive emotional state.  More importantly, the level of antibodies increased directly in relation to the level of increases brain-wave activity. Those that meditate had up to a  25% increases in antibodies than those that did not meditate. 
When brain activity was measured by electroencephalograms, researchers found about 50% more electrical activity in the left frontal regions of the brains of the mediators over non-mediators.

Lithium Quartz Crystals occur in nature as prismatic quartz with inclusions of a soft magenta hue or lavender gray lithium-bearing material. Kyanite is an alumininum silicate mineral which crystallizes in flat mica-like layers. These elongated crystal blades can occur twisted or straight. The hardness of the crystal will vary from 4.5 to 7 depending on the direction it is measured.

Due to  the mica layer structure of the crystal, cutting and faceting  Kyanite for jewelry making was not very practical in the past. However in recent years with laser technology they have developed a cost effective method  to cut across the crystal axes to create jewelry with the optimum hardness of  6 to 7.

Kyanite occurs in a large range of colors. However, blue, black and green are the most recognized colors for metaphysical applications. Some of the best specimens of Kyanite  are found in Brazil.
